Terms of Service

1. Service

util.beauty provides metered HTTP utility APIs (browser rendering, cryptography, and related platform endpoints) operated by Undercurrent Labs LLC (“we”, “us”). By using the service you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts & access

You may access paid endpoints with (a) prepaid API keys and a credit balance, or (b) per-request payment via the x402 protocol (USDC on Base). You are responsible for safeguarding API keys and wallet private keys. Secrets are shown once at creation and cannot be recovered in full from our systems.

3. Billing

Prices are quoted in credits (1 credit = $0.001 USD) or equivalent USDC for x402. Billing is per attempt: request bodies are validated free before payment; after payment authorizes or settles, the charge stands even if execution fails (for example, an unreachable URL). Card purchases use Stripe Checkout for fixed credit bundles. x402 payments settle on-chain before execution. We do not guarantee refunds for execution failures; operator-fault credits may be granted at our discretion.

4. Acceptable use

You may only target public web resources you are allowed to access. Requests to private networks, loopback, cloud metadata, or other blocked ranges are refused. You must not use the service to evade access controls, probe internal infrastructure, commit fraud, or violate applicable law. We may suspend accounts or refuse traffic that abuses the service or payment rails.

5. Cryptography utilities

Crypto endpoints process data in memory and do not persist keys, plaintexts, or ciphertexts. You remain solely responsible for key management and for the security of material you submit.

6. Artifacts & retention

Generated artifacts (for example screenshots and PDFs) are available via unguessable capability URLs for a limited period (default about 7 days). Download promptly; we may delete expired objects without notice.

7. Availability

The service is provided “as is.” We do not currently offer a formal SLA. Facilitator networks, browser capacity, and third-party processors (including Stripe and on-chain facilitators) may affect availability.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Undercurrent Labs LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material pricing changes are reflected in the live rate card and /v1/meta.
